Please Note:

PennDOT is planning a Slide Repair Project expected to begin May 13, 2024, and should be completed sometime in October of 2024, on Route 8 in Cherrytree Township, Venango County, south of Titusville. If you are traveling north on Rt 8 into Titusville, you may encounter delays and lane restrictions.

Oil City’s Oil Heritage Festival is July 24 – 28. As they expect Veterans Bridge to be closed during the festival, traffic (even on the Rt 8 bypass), may be congested during this time. If your route north to Titusville will take you through this area on those dates, please allow extra time for delays or plan a different route.

Tionesta Indian Festival will be August 14 – 18, 2024. If your route to Titusville takes you through Tionesta, PA, on those dates, please allow for possible delays or plan a different route.

Applefest in Franklin, PA, will be October 4 – 6, 2024. If your route to Titusville takes you through Franklin on those dates, please allow for delays or plan a different route.
